2018 International Exchange Program Kicked Off in July
Interns From Several Member Firms Have Wrapped Up Their International Exchange Program (IEP) Experience
This year’s International Exchange Program has ten firms participating – one of which is new to the program. Each firm has two participating interns. We did things a little differently this year since our number of firms didn’t allow us to do our traditional clusters as we have in the past, and we added a Round Robin-style cluster to the mix. We also had firms that wanted to participate in the exchange, but needed to send interns during a different timeframe than we typically do the IEP. Sixteen of our interns have wrapped up their IEP experience, while two are halfway through the program, and the other two will participate in September.
The firms participating in this year’s IEP:
Arias (Costa Rica); Bae, Kim & Lee (South Korea); Drinker Biddle & Reath (Illinois, U.S.A.); Gowling WLG (England); Mason Hayes & Curran (Ireland); MinterEllison (Australia); Payet, Rey, Cauvi, Pérez Abogados (Peru, new participant); Santamarina y Steta (Mexico); Soltysinski Kawecki & Szlezak (Poland); and TozziniFreire (Brazil).
A complete write-up will be included in the September issue of the Newsletter, when all participants have completed the IEP.
