Formed in 1988, the World Law Group is a network of independent law firms located in most of the world's major commercial cities. The member firms provide focused, cost-efficient legal service and advice to their international clients throughout the world. Each World Law Group member firm has been selected for its excellent business reputation, its depth of commitment to international practice, and its ability to assist other member firms in their international dealings.
There are currently forty-eight World Law Group member firms located in thirty-seven countries, including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Korea, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mexico, The Netherlands, Norway, Perú, Philippines, Portugal, Scotland, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Japan, and the United States.
World Law Group members are independent law firms, who are not affiliated for the practice of law, and each firm is solely responsible for its own work. Membership in the World Law Group is by invitation only, and potential member firms are carefully screened to ensure that they meet the high standards of the group.
The World Law Group holds semi-annual meetings where attorneys from member firms come together to broaden and strengthen their relationships and to increase awareness and understanding of legal issues and client needs worldwide. The active participation in these meetings and the established relationships among members help to ensure that the World Law Group is a cohesive network with members dedicated to serving their international clients in the most efficient manner possible.
