1. Describe your practice:
I am one of the members of the corporate department, in which I spend most of my time in M&A, Capital Markets, Finance and Project Development transactions. At Pellerano Nadal, we strive that our team understands the industry of our clients so that our legal assistance can be as practicable and efficient as possible.
2. You recently participated in WLG | beyond borders, what was a key takeaway for you?
WLG | beyond borders has been a great experience for me. Getting to know many of the participants’ backgrounds, what made them go into law and what are their hobbies, really helped me realize that we are an interconnected group of firms that are striving to offer the best legal service possible. Moreover, after such a tough year and a half, getting to see new faces is refreshing and reminds me that small things can have a huge impact.
Additionally, speaking about everyone’s experience gives us insight to the differences in culture, which, ultimately, I believe can help each one of us interact better with people from different countries.
3. If someone were to visit your country, what is a must-see/must-do?
The Dominican Republic is mostly known for 2 things: Baseball and Beaches. If someone comes to the country, they NEED to live one of those experiences.
4. You and your firm are new to WLG (Welcome!). Have you had the opportunity to work with other WLG firms yet?
Yes, we’ve been able to assist various members from Europe, Latin America and South America in a wide variety of issues such as: M&A and Regulatory matters.
