AZB & Partners is acting for National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF), which through its Master Fund, has partnered with GMR Airports Infrastructure Limited (GAL) to invest in the equity capital of three airports projects in India, including two greenfield airports which are part of the US$ 1.5 trillion National Infrastructure Pipeline. NIIF’s investment in Mopa airport will be its first investment in an airport asset in the country and also its first direct investment in the state of Goa.
The deal team comprises our Partner Anuja Tiwari, Senior Associates Mallika Anand, Amoolya Khurana, Pranjal Bhattacharya and Associates Sumi Trivedi, Shubham Toshniwal and Aman Raj.
