What advice would you give to a young female associate looking to make partner/advance her career?
A career in law is a marathon and not a sprint. Never compromise on integrity. And beware burnout: no one can be Superwoman, or at least not all the time!
As a woman, what do you think are the keys to success?
The same as for a man: work ethic, integrity, willingness to learn and grow.
How do you balance your career and personal life?
My spouse and children are my rock.
What do you hope changes for the next generation of women lawyers in the practice of law?
I would like young women lawyers to have more choices and paths to success in legal practice beyond the traditional partnership track. My young female partners are inspirations in that regard!
