Claudia Vega has been promoted to Senior Counsel
Since joining in June 2021, Claudia has played a key role in the growth and positioning of the Tax Department. She has also been pivotal in developing this practice within the firm’s Guatemala offices and contributing to its recognition in leading legal directories.
Her practice focuses on tax, corporate, energy, and fiscal planning, areas in which she stands out for her strategic approach and commitment to excellence. She is also recognized for her willingness to collaborate across teams and practice areas, bringing her expertise in a transversal manner.
Francisco Zuluaga has been promoted to Senior Counsel
Francisco joined the firm in 2017 and has since built a distinguished career, establishing himself as a key lawyer within the Corporate team. His experience includes corporate advisory, transactional work, mergers and acquisitions, financial transactions, and complementary areas such as data protection, telecommunications, real estate, and technology. He recently earned an LL.M. in International Defense from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
He is known for his client focus, availability, and practical approach to resolving inquiries, providing consistent support throughout transactions and building trust at every stage of the process.
Karla Gómez has been promoted to Senior Associate
Since joining in 2021, Karla has become a core member of the Litigation and Labor team. Her practice focuses on advising companies on labor law, social security, and occupational health and safety, as well as representing employers in judicial and administrative proceedings.

Andrés Marroquín has been promoted to Senior Associate
Andrés joined the firm in 2021 and has distinguished himself as a well-rounded lawyer, collaborating across multiple teams and practice areas. His experience focuses on commercial advisory, including drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts such as distribution agreements, financings, contractual frameworks for ongoing operations, and guarantees.
