Governance
World Law Group is governed by a nine-member international Board of Directors comprised of top lawyers in our member firms, each serving a two-year term. The Board oversees WLG operations, including oversight of the staff team, membership policies and bylaws, and the development of new initiatives.

WLG’s Board of Directors oversees all network activities, as well as the WLG Staff Team. The Board is comprised of nine members and led by the president.


The Business Development Committee facilitates building strategic relationships, identifying business opportunities, and sharing best practices related to business development.



The Responsible Business Forum offers WLG lawyers and professionals a platform to discuss and share internal strategies surrounding firm CSR; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and beyond.



Key Contact Partners are the main relationship managers between the network and its firms. They are responsible for managing their firm's participation in the network, educating their firm on WLG’s diverse offerings, and identifying opportunities to collaborate and connect with other member firms.





The Marketing & Business Development Professionals Forum is a resource for individuals in these roles to exchange ideas, share best practices, and discuss challenges and opportunities. They meet quarterly via virtual meetings and in person at the Legal Marketing Association Conference.


WLG’s Member Firm Leaders Forum is a place for firm management to share best practices, discuss elements of firm leadership, and learn more about leveraging network benefits.


WLG's Membership Committee is an advisory board which reports to the Board of Directors. Their primary goal is to monitor the quality of member firms and their engagement in the network, recruit new member firms, and make recommendations on member-related issues.

The Practice Group Leaders Forum is for WLG's Practice & Industry Groups to share best practices for leading their groups and identify opportunities for collaboration.
The First Fifteen Forum is dedicated to young lawyers and legal professionals who are in the early stages of their legal careers. This group includes law students, recent law graduates, and practicing attorneys who are within their first fifteen years of practice.
