Atresmedia Agrees on €175 million Sustainability-linked Financing

Cuatrecasas has advised the Atresmedia Group on the refinancing of its €175 million syndicated corporate loan linked to sustainability criteria.

CaixaBank acted as the coordinating entity in this financing transaction.

In the area of sustainability, BBVA and CaixaBank acted as coordinating entities, and BBVA assumes the role of sustainability agent.

The syndicated financing is linked to the performance of three environmental indicators: advertising space provided free of charge to non-profit organizations; accessibility of television content through sign language; and the inclusion of suppliers' carbon footprints, a key factor in the overall calculation of the Group's emissions.
