Breath Fund Joins International MISSION KYIV Initiative
The Breath Charity Fund has joined the extraordinary MISSION KYIV initiative — a 2,600-kilometre solidarity march from The Hague to Kyiv.
MISSION KYIV is a remarkable project supported by our strategic partner DoLadu. On 1 June 2025, an incredible march began from The Hague. Dutch veterans are walking toward the Ukrainian border, where Ukrainian veterans will pick up the baton and continue the journey through their homeland. The march will end on 21 June in the heart of Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital.
Why are they walking? These veterans are marching for those who returned from the frontlines but continue fighting a different battle every day — against trauma, pain, and the invisible wounds of war. Their mission: to raise €130,000 for psychological support, rehabilitation, and treatment for Ukrainian soldiers.
"This is not just a march. This is an act of solidarity. This is a path to healing,” said the project organisers. Every €50 donated represents another kilometre closer to recovery for those who defended and continue to defend Ukraine.
This march demonstrates international support for Ukraine and recognition of the courage shown by Ukrainian defenders. Veterans from different countries walking together highlight the universal challenges military personnel face after service and the importance of collective action in addressing them.
The Breath Charity Fund, established to support socially important projects, joined this initiative as part of our mission to help those who need society’s support the most.
Your support matters. The Breath Charity Fund invites everyone who cares to join us in raising funds for Ukrainian military personnel. Regardless of size, every contribution brings us closer to our shared goal.
