Cuatrecasas Foundation Opens Call for Manuel Olivencia Scholarships
The Cuatrecasas Foundation, a leader in promoting education and equal opportunities, opens the call for the Manuel Olivencia Scholarships, an initiative that demonstrates its firm commitment to social transformation by supporting young talent in the legal field. True to its mission to contribute to the development of individuals and society, the foundation embraces education as a driving force for change and progress, promoting diversity and academic excellence with two incentive options within the framework of the call for proposals:
Manuel Olivencia Scholarship: A financial aid program aimed at students pursuing a bachelor’s degree or double degree in law at Spanish public universities who demonstrate outstanding academic performance and have obtained a MEC scholarship (scholarship by the Spanish Ministry of Education) or equivalent for the corresponding course. Candidates must be residents of Spain and meet a minimum entrance grade or academic record, depending on the course. The foundation will award four financial grants, each worth €4,000 gross, to cover additional training expenses, academic materials, computer equipment, and international travel expenses, which promote students' personal autonomy.
Manuel Olivencia Award for University Excellence: Aimed at those in the final year of a bachelor’s degree in law, any double degree with law, or a master's degree in law at Spanish universities, whether public or private. Applicants must have an excellent academic record, be fluent in English, and not be beneficiaries of other financial aid for the same program, except for that granted by the host university. The award, worth €50,000 gross, recognizes academic excellence and supports master's and doctoral studies, as well as research projects in business law, both in Spain and abroad.
