Briefly describe your role.
I counsel clients on environmental law issues with a focus on helping them stay ahead of a rapidly evolving legal and commercial landscape. While traditional environmental compliance remains part of my practice, I spend much of my time advising on climate-related disclosures, carbon markets, ESG strategy, sustainable supply chains, ethical sourcing, and green claim substantiation. I co-lead Faegre Drinker’s ESG Working Group and collaborate with our energy transactions team to support clients navigating the regulatory and commercial complexities of the global shift toward sustainability.
You are attending WLG | summit Riga ’25 as a first-time delegate and are a panelist for Friday’s session, ESG Ripple Effect: What Global Regulations Mean for Your Practice & Clients. What topics do you look forward to discussing?
I look forward to discussing the tension between federal and state climate-related policy in the U.S.A., and how those complexities impact companies navigating multi-jurisdictional and voluntary sustainability reporting. I also look forward to highlighting how, despite certain headwinds, several industries are still making progress on important social responsibility and environmental stewardship initiatives.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Outside of work, I practice a personal philosophy of servant leadership. I enjoy collaborating with community leaders on initiatives that drive meaningful impact—especially those that promote inclusion in the legal profession, bring art to underserved communities, and push our field to innovate and adapt. I’m also a massive fan of music and enjoy collecting vinyl and creating my own projects.
