Mare Med: Strengthening Business Ties Between Greece and Israel
The collaboration between Bahas, Gramatidis & Partners and Herzog Fox & Neeman, the exclusive World Law Group members for Greece and Israel, respectively, has been instrumental in establishing the Mare Med Conferences as a growing platform for strengthening business, investment and professional ties between the two countries and across the wider Eastern Mediterranean region.

Having reached its fourth conference, Mare Med has evolved into an established forum bringing together business leaders, investors, legal professionals and institutional representatives from Greece, Cyprus and Israel.
Mare Med IV took place in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem on 13–15 October 2026, further strengthening the initiative’s momentum. During the conference, Yanos Gramatidis, Managing Partner at Bahas, Gramatidis & Partner, was honored for his contribution to strengthening relations between Greece and Israel, in recognition of his efforts to build bridges between the two countries (see photos below).

Through high-level discussions, networking and targeted B2B meetings, the initiative promotes dialogue, identifies opportunities for cross-border cooperation and helps build lasting business relationships.
A key feature of Mare Med is its alternating format, with a conference held every six months, in Greece and Israel in turn. This continuity reflects the commitment of both firms to fostering closer economic relations and creating tangible opportunities for collaboration between the two business communities.
The next conference, Mare Med V, is scheduled to take place in Greece in spring 2027, continuing this collaborative effort and opening new avenues for business partnerships and investment between Greece and Israel.
