1. I am a healthcare M&A attorney in the State of Florida. While I handle corporate M&A work as well, about 70% of my deals involve healthcare/Biolife Sciences.

2. The Summit in Seattle was amazing! I particularly enjoyed to the discussion about international trade as well as hearing from in-house counsel as to how we can better serve our clients. My key takeaway was that to stand out as attorneys, we need to make our clients’ lives easier by being proactive and innovative. We need to anticipate their needs, identify issues for them in their industry before they do, and proactively send information that helps them with their day-to-day functions, particularly with those to whom they report. I am also excited to find more ways to leverage AI to assist our clients. 

3. We continue to see a lot of consolidation among healthcare providers in Florida.  While many companies in the sector are selling to PE, the market is ripe for investors to make cash infusions into innovative healthcare businesses to foster growth. We have seen a lot of opportunities and large returns in this sector and don’t expect things to slow down as they have with other sectors.

4. In my spare time I like to ride horses. I have a small horse farm in Florida and have horses, goats, chickens, ducks, and dogs. I also enjoy playing volleyball and basketball.
