Sayenko Kharenko Partners Elected to AmCham Leadership

Published on Dec 17, 2025

Sayenko Kharenko reinforces its position as a bridge between Ukrainian business and international best practices by electing two partners to leadership roles in the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine.

Valentyna Hvozd, Partner at Sayenko Kharenko, has been elected Co-Chair of the AmCham Competition Committee, while Vitaliy Odzhykovskyy, Partner, will serve as Co-Chair of the AmCham Legal Committee.

Valentyna Hvozd will focus on improving due process protections for businesses involved in antitrust cases and on ensuring that competition law reform reflects real business needs and international standards. Her priorities include creating a more predictable, transparent environment that supports Ukraine’s economic growth and European integration.

Vitaliy Odzhykovskyy will work through the Chamber Legal Committee to strengthen the rule of law and build a fair, transparent regulatory environment, advocating for frameworks that protect investment and enable business growth.

In a market where legal expertise is increasingly commoditised, Sayenko Kharenko’s differentiation lies in its ability to shape the environment in which clients operate—not just navigate it.

The firm’s partners don’t simply interpret regulations; they influence their development. They don’t just advise on compliance; they advocate for frameworks that enable business growth.

This is particularly crucial as Ukraine continues its EU integration, where aligning with European standards isn’t just about checking boxes—it’s about ensuring Ukrainian businesses can compete on equal footing in European markets.
