São Paulo, May 19^th, 2025 – TozziniFreire, one of the leading players in legal services in Latin America, takes another step in its growth strategy and announces the promotion of Victor Hugo Avallone to partner in the Life Sciences and Healthcare practice area. 

Victor, who has been part of the firm for 6 years, has nearly 15 years of experience in Health Law, including laws and regulations from ANVISA, ANS, and MAPA, clinical trials, medical ethics, contracts, administrative proceedings, and mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare industry. Additionally, he is an active member of the firm's multidisciplinary Pharmaceutical Industry group. Throughout his professional career, he has also worked as a secondee in companies subject to health legislation or in highly regulated environments.

Victor is a PhD candidate and Master (M.Sc.) in International Trade Law from the Law School of the University of São Paulo, with research focused on the global trade of pharmaceuticals. Graduate of the Law School of Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, he also holds a specialized degree in Health Law from the School of Public Health at the University of São Paulo and in Business Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas. Currently, he is a member of the Health Committee of the France-Brazil Chamber of Commerce (CCFB) and is the author of several publications in the field of life sciences and healthcare law.
