Vitaliy Odzhykovskyy Joins ESB Certification Commission

The Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine (ESBU) has established two certification and two personnel commissions to conduct staff re-certification and recruit new personnel. Sayenko Kharenko partner Vitaliy Odzhykovskyy has been appointed to the first certification commission, joining legal professionals and international experts tasked with establishing integrity standards for the agency. 

The certification commissions bring together Ukrainian legal experts and international specialists with backgrounds in law enforcement, prosecution, and anti-corruption work. Their mandate is to assess ESBU personnel against criteria of integrity and professional competence through an 18-month certification process aimed at transforming ESBU into a trusted institution for economic security. 

Vitaliy Odzhykovskyy heads Sayenko Kharenko’s Tax practice and brings significant experience in tax disputes and interactions with government authorities.
