Alain Remy shared Switzerland-based Swissport, a global leader in airport ground services and air cargo handling, invited CMS to participate in an RFP in the fall of 2021 covering 55 jurisdictions, including 27 WLG member firms (five of which were CMS), and several practice areas, including M&A, litigation & arbitration, employment, and compliance & regulatory. Active in nearly 300 airports in more than 40 countries, the company wants to allow all local organizations of Swissport to retain counsel to a small panel that shall have a preference but not exclusivity. All that is left is to win the work.
