Al Tamimi & Company (UAE) created pieces of art using only waste materials. This project was done at each of the firm’s 15 locations. The project raised awareness about the quantity of non-recyclable waste that employees produce on a daily basis. By the end of the month, employees created a map of the UAE using plastic and carton, crochet bags from plastic bags and a floater from plastic bottles.
In the future, the firm hopes individuals will think twice about purchasing plastic-wrapped food and other items, and choose to purchase ones with sustainable or minimal packaging.
