Arnold & Porter Launched Service Day Initiatives for WLG | impact

Arnold & Porter (Washington, D.C., U.S.A.) launched a Service Day Initiative across the firm. Offices competed to engage as many individuals and/or groups as they could to participate. In Washington, DC, individuals volunteered at Food & Friends, and other offices have engaged in important service work such as laying flags at the gravesites of veterans and volunteering with animal rescue groups. The winning office will be determined based on the percentage of office participation and will be announced later this year.

Throughout the year, Arnold & Porter’s ESG Strategy addresses many important related themes, including its Green Office Initiative. The firm has adopted a Green Office policy that focuses on resource conservation and sustainable business practices. The policy lays out a plan to reduce resource consumption in all of the firm’s offices, focusing on specific measures to address paper, energy, food waste, composting, reduction in plastics, recycling, and transportation. The firm is also LEED Certified.
