Digital Bootcamp Kicks off With Six Startups Selected by Cuatrecasas Acelera

The fifth Cuatrecasas ACELERA program-the firm's accelerator program that has already helped over 30 startups gain project traction-kicks off with the first bootcamp. The six selected startups will meet the team of mentors that will accompany them throughout the accelerator program, as well as participate in workshops and legal classes given by Cuatrecasas partners and experts from the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Cuatrecasas CIO, Francese Munoz, explained that "during these three days, we start to work on the regulatory and legal requirements and challenges of each of the startups. We also provide advice on intellectual property, labor and employment, tax, and corporate and commercial matters, to validate the main aspects of each of these areas." He emphasized that all the necessary platforms and digital tools have been provided this year to maintain the same level as previous ones but in an online format. "We have organized online networking activities with ecosystem experts and Cuatrecasas ACELERA alumni startups, which will take place during the four-month program," Munoz stated.

Selected projects:

Parallel (legaltech): Platform aimed at obtaining responses and documents from clients on time and without email chains. Its simple design streamlines workflows and document exchange in an organized fashion.

MyDataMood(legaltech): Startup aimed at radically changing the ecosystem around managing and monetizing personal contact details, which companies call for to develop their business plans, client management and marketing strategies.

Lendmarket (fintech): First platform in Spain for secondary market corporate debt.

Menhir Financial (fintech): Platform that works with banks, funds and servicers to find out how to distribute non-performingloans most efficiently and maximize these assets' performance. It has also developed a series of models based on artificial intelligence that understand the way in which secured loans are recovered and, through a valuation of intangibles, designs the optimal portfolio recovery plan.

AllRead Machine (deeptech): Company that develops solutions based on deep learning to detect and digitize texts, codes and symbols in supply chains.

Biometric Vox (legaltech): Applied technology startup that focuses on developing complex artificial intelligence-based software systems relating to voice biometrics.
