1. Briefly describe your role.
I am the Chief Marketing Officer at Greenberg Glusker LLP. My role involves managing a rockstar team of three marketing professionals and developing marketing and business development strategies to propel the firm's brand and market position. Specifically, I spend most of my time coaching our attorneys on their individual marketing plans, public relations, and maximizing the firm's investment in events, sponsorships, digital marketing, and advertising.
2. You were recently appointed to the Board of Legal Marketing Association. What do you look forward to accomplishing in this new role?
I'm thrilled to be joining the International Board for LMA. I've been part of the association for almost 12 years and have been impressed with its growth over the years. It's an immense honor and a career highlight to be part of this amazing board. At a high level, I'm looking forward to a successful annual conference in San Diego this year, working with the regions on their programming, and communicating all of the benefits and offerings LMA provides to its members.
3. Can you share some hot topics that are coming up during discussions within LMA?
One of the many benefits of LMA is the members' willingness to share advice and best practices via our Shared Interest Groups (SIGs). I've seen a lot of topics around artificial intelligence use in the business of law, experience management, new website redesigns, and a focus on effective business development tactics.
4. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I am vegan and love trying all of the new vegan restaurants in Los Angeles. Even when I travel for work or for pleasure, the first thing I do is look up the vegan restaurants in the area so we can support them and enjoy good food! Otherwise, a lot of my time in the last 2 years has been spent balancing life as a working mom with a very active and curious toddler.
