Intellectual Property

World Law Group’s Intellectual Property Practice Group is made up of leading IP specialists who advise clients on transactional matters, protection of assets, licensing, portfolio management, due diligence, compliance, and other facets related to managing intellectual property. They appear before courts in litigation cases for cross-border and domestic clients and represent them in administrative and enforcement proceedings. The scope includes all areas of IP including patent, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, design, plant variety rights, integrated circuit layout design, and geographical indications.

Members regularly exchange news and information on local and international developments in these complex fields, and meet during virtual group meetings and at international events such as the International Trademark Association (INTA) annual conference. They often collaborate with other groups such as the Technology, Privacy & Data Protection, and Labor & Employment groups.

This group is targeted toward both transactional lawyers and litigators who help clients defend and manage their intellectual property.
